Before founding IGNITE, Alexandra Marostica spent 13 years in Human Resources leadership, supporting the growth and development of over 300 staff members. What mattered most to her was never the corporate systems — it was transformation. Watching people move from uncertainty into confidence sparked a lifelong passion for helping others step into their potential.
After a deeply personal life transition, Alexandra founded The Flying Phoenix, a coaching business helping women rebuild after heartbreak and reconnect with their strength. Coaching became more than a profession. It became a calling.
Around the same time, Alexandra met Gareth Pickering at Africa Burn. Gareth was already building a location-independent coaching business, combining strategy, systems, and freedom in a way that deeply resonated. Through mentorship, experimentation, and years of hands-on learning, they uncovered a pattern:
